Lending Library
How it works
At Spectrum Strong, we know that adaptive equipment can be expensive. We also know that many families have equipment that is no longer being used as children, teens, and adults grow, develop new skills, or outgrow certain supports. Rather than letting these valuable items sit unused, we invite families to Celebrate It Forward by sharing them with others in our community.
Share Your Equipment
Have adaptive equipment that's clean, safe, and in good working condition? Email Spectrum Strong a photo and a brief description, and we'll add it to our online lending library.
Connect with a Family
Families can browse the lending library and submit an email to spectrumstronghudson@gmail.com. When someone is interested, Spectrum Strong will connect both families so they can arrange pickup or transfer directly.
Pay It Forward
Once the item has been shared, we'll remove it from the library. When the receiving family no longer needs it, we encourage them to add it back so another family can benefit.
Important Disclaimer
Spectrum Strong's role is limited to connecting families. We do not inspect, test, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any equipment listed in the lending library. Families are responsible for determining whether an item is safe, appropriate, and suitable for their needs.
Submitting an item or expressing interest in an item does not guarantee an exchange will occur. All decisions regarding the donation, lending, receipt, or exchange of equipment are made solely by the participating families.
One family's unused equipment can become another family's valuable resource. Together, let's Celebrate It Forward.
