One of the inspirations behind Celebrate It Forward came from a simple act of kindness. Tracy connected Emma’s mom, Lauren, with a family who was looking to pass along an adapted bike. It turned out to be the perfect match for Emma.
Today, Emma enjoys long bike rides around her neighborhood and loves bringing her bike along on family outings. What started as a connection between two families has grown into a passion for biking and opened up new opportunities for fun, independence, and adventure.
This story is a wonderful example of what Celebrate It Forward is all about—connecting families, sharing resources, and creating meaningful opportunities for children and families to thrive. We hope to help create many more stories like Emma’s in the years to come. 💙🚲✨
Celebrate it forward Adaptive Equipment Lending Library

At Spectrum Strong, we know that adaptive equipment can be expensive. We also know that many families have equipment that is no longer being used as children, teens, and adults grow, develop new skills, or outgrow certain supports. Rather than letting these valuable items sit unused, we invite families to Celebrate It Forward by sharing them with others in our community.

How It Works
If you have adaptive equipment that is in good, clean, working condition, simply email Spectrum Strong a photo and brief description of the item. We will add it to our online lending library where families can browse available equipment and submit an interest form.
When a family expresses interest, Spectrum Strong will connect the two families directly. Any arrangements for pickup, transfer, or exchange will be made between the families. Once an item has been exchanged, it will be removed from the library.
When the receiving family is no longer using the item, we encourage them to add it back to the lending library so it can continue to benefit others.

Submitting an item or expressing interest in an item does not guarantee an exchange will occur. All decisions regarding the donation, lending, receipt, or exchange of equipment are made solely by the participating families.
